For my last weeks I’ll be here in Madrid enjoying the beautiful Autumn and winter colours which are showing at the moment.

This picture is made last Sunday while strolling in the Retiro, what made quite a nice image, I thought at least.

As well this will be last week at work and already planning my whole week at the moment.. I’m really looking forward to it actually, as well to stop working and going back to Holland and than to Mexico.. Let’s see how that will develop. But expect at least many travel updates the upcoming months, as I’ll be trying to capture the best way the different landscapes and seasons in the different regions.

Hello there,

Just a quick note about the effects X-Rays in Airports can have on your digital pics.

This is an example pic what resulted because I have putted my Camera through the X-Rays at the Airport security. Even though this picture have been taken after going through the security.

I don’t know the exact theory behind this kind of behaviour but I do know that it’s probably because the X-rays are touching the bits stored on the memory card. As a result, the bits are getting distorted and will be causing these kinds of pics.

So please take care the next time you take your camera through the X-rays and hope that it will never happen to you.
